We help small and mid-sized companies in Scotland and across the UK identify profit leaks, restructure operations, and build growth plans that actually get executed.

Aspire Consulting Hub started in 2014 with a single idea: consulting should produce measurable change, not thick reports that sit in a drawer. Our founding team came from operational roles in manufacturing, logistics, and financial services. We knew what it felt like to receive advice that ignored the reality on the ground.
Today our team of nine consultants works with businesses generating between £500K and £30M in annual revenue. We focus on operational efficiency, market-entry planning, financial restructuring, and leadership development. Each engagement has a defined scope, a timeline, and clear success metrics agreed before we begin.
Most of our clients are based in Scotland, though we regularly work with companies in the north of England and across the wider UK. About a third of our engagements come from referrals, which we take as the most honest measure of whether we deliver.
What we do
We map your workflows end to end, identify bottlenecks, and redesign processes. Typical engagements run eight to twelve weeks. Recent clients have reduced order-fulfilment time by 25% and cut overhead costs by up to 18%.
Cash flow problems rarely fix themselves. We build rolling 13-week cash forecasts, renegotiate supplier terms, and restructure debt where needed. Our financial analysts work alongside your bookkeeper or FD so nothing falls through the cracks.
Founders and senior managers often lack a sounding board. Our one-to-one coaching programme runs in six-month blocks, with fortnightly sessions, practical exercises, and 360-degree feedback from your direct reports.
Expanding into a new region or vertical? We research the competitive landscape, size the addressable market, and create a go-to-market plan with realistic revenue projections. We have done this for SaaS firms, food producers, and professional-services businesses.
Technology should serve the business, not the other way round. We audit your current tools, recommend replacements where the ROI is clear, and manage the migration. Past projects include CRM rollouts, ERP consolidations, and warehouse-management system upgrades.
We create 12-month and 36-month growth roadmaps tied to financial targets. Each plan includes quarterly milestones, resource requirements, and risk scenarios. You get a living document, not a static deck.
How we work
Every engagement follows a structured sequence. We adapt the depth of each stage to the size and complexity of the project, but the order stays the same.
We spend one to two weeks interviewing your team, reviewing financials, and observing daily operations. This is where most of the insight comes from. We charge a flat fee for discovery so there is no ambiguity about cost.
Our team synthesises the findings into a prioritised list of issues and opportunities. You receive a written report with specific recommendations ranked by impact and effort. No jargon, no filler.
We work alongside your staff to put changes in place. This might mean redesigning a pricing model, training a sales team on a new CRM, or restructuring a department. We stay hands-on until the change sticks.
Sixty days after implementation we return for a review session. We measure results against the targets set during discovery and identify any adjustments needed. This session is included in the project fee.
Questions
Discovery projects start at £2,500. Full consulting engagements range from £8,000 to £45,000 depending on scope and duration. We always quote a fixed fee before work begins, so you know exactly what you are paying.
Yes, provided the startup has been trading for at least six months and has enough operational data for us to work with. Pre-revenue businesses are better served by an accelerator programme; we can recommend several good ones in Scotland.
The discovery phase works best on-site. After that, most of the engagement can happen over video calls and shared documents. We use a project-management platform that gives you real-time visibility into tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
Our strongest track record is in professional services, food and drink manufacturing, logistics, and technology companies. That said, the operational and financial frameworks we use apply broadly. We will tell you upfront if we think another firm is a better fit for your sector.
Quick wins often appear within the first month of implementation. Structural changes like new pricing models or reorganised teams typically take three to six months to show their full effect. We set interim checkpoints so progress is visible throughout.
